Letters concerning calligraphic penmanship, and particularly the use of italic hands; dated from Danbury Conn., March 14, 1957 and January 7, 1962; with envelopes. Also included is a draft of DaBoll's reply to the 1957 letter, sent in December of 1961. The DaBoll draft contains a paragraph not present in the final letter, notes by DaBoll on the contents of his letter, and an indication of his intention to donate the 1957 letter to the Newberry Library.
